1. Who we are

STAS AI (Smart Training Adaptive System) is operated by Misik Solutions LLC ("we"). Contact us at support@stas-ai.com.

2. What we collect

Account data — email address you provide at sign-up.
Assessment data — name, age, sex, height, weight, fitness level, goals, schedule, injuries, food allergies, available equipment, language preference. All optional, all editable.
Coaching activity — your chat messages with the AI, workouts and meal plans you ask the system to organize, and the categories of any focus-domain guardrails that fired (e.g. "medical stop").
App preferences — chosen theme, default chat mode.
Anonymous analytics — aggregate usage counts (workouts built, messages sent) shown back to you on the Progress dashboard.

We do not collect device identifiers for advertising, location, contacts, browsing history, or any third-party tracking data.

3. Why we collect it

Personalization — your AI coaching responses are scoped to your assessment. Without it, STAS AI cannot organize around your injuries or respect your allergies.
Focus auditing — every guardrail trigger is logged so we can verify the focus-domain classifier works for you and improve coverage in future versions.
Service operation — auth, billing, support requests.

4. Who we share with

Google LLC (Gemini API) — the LLM provider that generates coaching responses. We send your message + your assessment context with each call. On Google's free API tier, Google may use your prompts to improve their models; on the paid tier they do not. We will move to the paid tier before opening paid subscriptions. Gemini API terms →

Apple / Google — if you subscribe via iOS or Android, the platform handles your payment and shares only an opaque purchase identifier with us.

We do not sell or rent your data. Ever.

5. How long we keep it

We retain your data for as long as your account is active, plus 30 days after you delete the account to handle billing reconciliation. After that we purge it permanently.

6. Your rights

Access — view your assessment and activity any time via the in-app Progress, Plan, and Nutrition tabs.
Edit — update or remove any assessment field in the Onboarding screen.
Delete — request full account deletion at support@stas-ai.com; we honor within 7 days.
Export — request a JSON dump of all data we hold about you; same address.

EU/UK residents: you have additional rights under GDPR / UK-GDPR. California residents: CCPA. We honor both — same contact, same SLA.

7. Not medical advice

STAS AI is a general fitness and lifestyle coaching application, positioned within the FDA's low-risk general wellness product framework. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any condition. The AI is built to decline medical interpretation requests and route them to licensed professionals. If you experience medical symptoms, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

8. Changes

We'll update this page when material changes happen and notify subscribers by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
